About EMRO

Designing spaces, objects, and experiences with intention.

EMRO Creative is a queer-owned multidisciplinary design studio founded by Jordan Patrick Pouliot, rooted in New England and inspired by the relationship between people, materials, and the environments they inhabit.

With a background spanning interior architecture, fine arts, retail leadership, and brand development, Jordan brings a unique perspective to every project—combining an artistic eye with strategic thinking and a deep understanding of how spaces influence the way we live, work, and connect.

Before founding EMRO, Jordan spent over a decade leading design-driven teams and developing customer experiences for nationally recognized brands across luxury home furnishings, retail, and lifestyle industries. His experience includes interior planning, kitchen and bath design, visual merchandising, product storytelling, vendor collaboration, and creative team development.

This diverse foundation allows EMRO to approach design from multiple perspectives: the designer considering form and function, the artist exploring material and expression, and the leader understanding how thoughtful environments create meaningful experiences.

From residential interiors and curated home collections to retail concepts and creative collaborations, EMRO creates intentional designs that balance beauty, functionality, and personal connection. Each project is guided by a belief that the best spaces are not simply designed—they are discovered through collaboration, storytelling, and a thoughtful understanding of the people they serve.

Approaching from New Angles

"I’m not just someone who makes rooms look beautiful. I understand how spaces operate, how people interact with them, how design can communicate an identity, how a sense of self develops in those places and is curated over time."
