Design [Brief]: Family Photo Series

In a collection of old photographs from my mother’s childhood are pictures of a family cabin in Wasilla, AK. The stories of those camping trips she went on with my grandmother and her siblings, and the traditions and experiences my mother continued with my own childhood, have given me a strong appreciation for spaces, or retreats rather, that feed the senses and the soul. This mood board is meant to invoke elements of nostalgia, formative experiences and memories, abundance in the solitude of nature, and the quite power of healing in the woods.
